Nord Formation Cutting Technology (NFCT) a proprietary innovation a 5th generation technology superior in efficiency and productivity to all technologies of the past generations, including formation hydrofrac (FHF) and formation fissure relief (FFR).

 
Nord Formation Treating Solution (NFTS) is a proprietary innovation unequalled in practice anywhere in the world.


The basis of the Nord Formation Cutting Technology is the possibility of controlling the magnitude of tangential stresses originating in a well bore zone through underground pressure by creating two or more radial relief fissures along the borehole axis and converting annular compression stresses into longitudinal tensile ones. This makes it possible to increase the rock permeability and to achieve the maximum hydro dynamically allowable reservoir yield. For this purpose, Nord Service developed and uses its own unique equipment and technologies.

The high level of efficiency of the Nord Formation Cutting Technology has been demonstrated in practice: fluid influxes into a well have been increased by 2-7 times compared to the original flow rate.

Nord Foramtion Cutting Technology can be used without performing perforation, both to renovate dry wells as well as immediately after production drilling.

Nord Formation Treating Solution well technologies are non-corrosive and ecologically safe powder reagents. It is designed for high-efficiency chemical treatment of oil, gas, gas-condensate, injection and water drainage to remove various solid sediments from the well bore zones: clay and polymer-clay formations, carbonate sediments, iron compounds, and sediments of organic origin.

The reagents and their subsequent use are individually selected for each well, depending on the mineralogical composition of the existing illuvial formations.

The NFCT technology is protected by two patents in United States.


The NFCT technology provides the following:


Increase of the rock permeability coefficient owing to variation of magnitude and direction of tangent stresses in a well zone;
 
Increase of reduced well radius at the expense of creation of mine workings in a well zone;

Increase of the rock permeability coefficient owing to variation of magnitude and direction of tangent stresses in a well zone;
 
Complete removal of skin effect formed at the expense of the formation exposing nature;

Increase of well hydrodynamic perfection coefficient a at the expense of mine workings creation in a well zone;
 
Increase of phase relative permeability to oil;
 
Mean increase of well production rates at 375 % (on the data of output from 200 wells):
