What is a Ring Tone?
Aring tone is a musical sound that can be sent to certain Nokia, Sagem, Ericsson and Motorola phones over the GSM network. It arrives on your phone as a special SMS message that gives you the option to Play Back, Save, or Discard. If you Save it to your phone you can then assign it to different callers or caller groups. We have thousands to choose from including rock, dance, reggae, latest pop hits and more!

Is your mobile phone compatible? If you have a compatible Nokia, Sagem, Ericsson or Motorola mobile phone you can customise it with cool ring tones that play a musical tune when people call you.

These are the mobile phones that are compatible with our service.

Ericsson

You can save one ring tone with the following models:
R520m/mc, T20e, T29e, T39.
Firmware release R2 must be installed - see the packaging instructions of your phone!

EMS
(Enhanced Messaging Service) standard now included. EMS Firmware release R2 must be installed - see the packaging instructions of your phone!

You can save one ring tone with the following models:
all EMS (Enhanced Messaging Service) compliant phones R520m/mc, T20e, T29e, T39.

Motorola Phones

V50, V100, V8088, Timeport 250, Timeport 260 (GPRS), V2288

The ring tone arrives and is stored in the normal inbox on the phone. You can therefore store as many as you can fit in the inbox but they are saved as music tone so you won't be able to tell which tone is which until you make it your current tone. When you save one it overwrites the existing music tone in the ring tones menu. You can therefore save more than one and swap between them.

Sagem Phones

You can save one ring tone with the following models.
MC930, MC936, MC/MW939, MC940, MC942, MC946, MC949, MC950, MC952, MC956

You can save up to five ring tones with the following models.
MC/MW932, MC959(R)

Nokia Phones

Not supported.
3110, 402, 5110, 5130, 5146 and 8110

You can save 1 ring tone with the following models.
3210, 6090, 6110, 6130, 6150, 8810, 8850, 8890, 9000

You can save up to 5 ring tones with the following models.
6210, 6250, 7110, and 8210

You can save up to 7 ring tones with the following models.
3310, 3330, 8110i

These Nokia phones can receive up to 99 ring tones - limited only by available memory capacity.
9000i, 9110i

Nokia - How to install your new tone
Ring Tones setup Ring tones are similar, we send a SMS file message to your phone, and your phone will then display "Ringing tone received". Press the button below the menu key to go into the Options, and scroll down to Save. The ring tone will then be installed and available in the list of ring tones on your phone, see your instruction manual to assign different ring tones to callers and groups.

How to find your ring tone once saved
This will show in the profiles or ring tones menu on your phone. For setup refer to the instruction manual supplied with your phone for details as all phones vary.
